The main purpose of Kundalini yoga is to activate Kundalini shakti energy, which is the energy of all consciousness that exists within each one of us. Kundalini is known as the yoga of awareness. It helps you shed the wounds of trauma, and lift off societal and familial programming so that you may know your truest self.
